The President of Beni Suef University attends the closing ceremony of student activities at the university.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, attended the closing ceremony of student activities, organized by the university's General Administration for Youth Welfare. The ceremony was held under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hossam El-Hawary, General Coordinator of Student Activities; Dr. Ahmed Farouk, General Coordinator of Students for Egypt; Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University; and Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director General of Youth Welfare. Also in attendance were Captain Mohamed Maarouf, international referee and guest of honor; Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Wael Hazin, Dean of the Faculty of Science; and a number of prominent figures and sports personalities from the governorate, in addition to a large number of faculty members, staff, and Students for Egypt.
The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by artistic, musical, and vocal performances, as well as various poems, religious chants, and a video presentation showcasing the most prominent activities of Students for Egypt throughout the year. During his speech, Dr. Tarek Ali expressed his delight at participating with his students in the closing ceremony of student activities, which represent one of the most important pillars in building the well-rounded personality of university students. He emphasized the university's commitment to supporting cultural, artistic, athletic, and social activities, recognizing their significant role in fostering creativity, a sense of belonging, and teamwork among students. He also thanked all those involved in organizing the event and commended the students for their exemplary participation and excellence throughout the academic year, wishing them continued success and distinction. The university president welcomed the guest of honor, Captain Mohamed Maarouf, an international referee, praising his distinguished performance in football officiating both within and outside Egypt.
Dr. Tarek Ali affirmed that this year witnessed remarkable student engagement that had a profound impact on shaping the university student's character, developing their awareness, and refining their skills through their participation in various athletic, artistic, cultural, and scientific activities, as well as comprehensive awareness campaigns. This embodies the university's mission of connecting education with the community.
He concluded his speech by affirming the university's continued support for and development of student activities, based on the belief that human development is the true investment. Dr. Hamada Mohamed explained that student activities are an integral part of the educational process, contributing to the discovery of talents, honing students' abilities, and developing their various skills. Therefore, the university is keen to provide all means of support and care for students to participate positively in various activities. He added that the distinguished level of the ceremony reflects the significant effort exerted by the Student Welfare Department and the participating students, expressing his hope that this excellence will continue in the coming years.
Dr. Ahmed Farouk thanked the university president for his commitment to providing full support for student activities and highlighting the role of university units such as the Community Initiatives Unit and the Psychological Support Unit. He also praised the role of the "Students for Egypt" initiative in organizing various university events, noting their organized and dedicated work throughout the year and under all circumstances.
Captain Mohamed Farouk also thanked the university president for his patronage and support of students and student welfare activities. He explained that through this support, the General Administration for Student Welfare is committed to providing diverse activities that meet the interests of all students and contribute to creating a positive university environment that encourages creativity and fair competition. This year witnessed remarkable student achievements, with the university securing first place in the Ideal Student competition among Egyptian universities, as well as top rankings in religious chanting, theater, visual arts, and other fields. This success was attributed to the broad and distinguished participation of students in various sports, cultural, artistic, and social activities, reflecting their awareness and keenness to utilize these activities to develop their personalities and abilities. We extend our gratitude to the university administration for its ongoing support of all student activities and events.
International referee Mohamed Maarouf expressed his delight at being at Beni Suef University, stating that his passion for the university's successive achievements across various disciplines motivated him to attend. He emphasized that these accomplishments are not accidental but rather the result of wise leadership that has placed the university at the forefront.
At the end of the ceremony, the university shield was presented to Captain Mohamed Maarouf, international referee; Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University; Ms. Azza Mohamed Hassan, Director General of the University's Public Relations Department; Dr. Ahmed Farouk, General Coordinator of Students for Egypt; Captain Hamdi Saad, Head of the Beni Suef Referees Committee; Captain Sayed El-Amin, Head of the Beni Suef Sports Syndicate; Captain Mohamed Taha, lecturer at the Egyptian Federation for Physical Fitness; Captain Tony Othman, Director of Public Relations for the Referees Committee; and Captain Mohamed Youssef, former Al-Ahly player. All students who received awards during the academic year and achieved top rankings in scientific, cultural, sports, artistic, and social activities were also honored, along with several faculty members and administrative leaders who contributed to the success of the various student activities.
