The President of Beni Suef University attends the graduation ceremony of the Autism Department at the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, attended a special ceremony organized by the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences on the occasion of the graduation of the seventh batch of students from the Department of Autism and Learning Disabilities.

This was in the presence of Dr. Heba Abu El-Nil, Dean of the College, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Azazi, Vice Dean of the College for Graduate Studies, Dr. Haitham Nagi, Vice Dean of the College for Environmental Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Rabie, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University.

For his part, the university president pointed out that the Department of Autism and Learning Disabilities is one of the leading departments that contributes to preparing specialized personnel capable of dealing with the educational and psychological challenges faced by children and students with special needs, explaining that the university seeks through these programs to promote the values of equality and equal opportunities, and to provide an integrated educational environment that allows students to gain practical experience through field training and participation in community initiatives.

The university president praised the college's efforts in developing curricula in line with the latest scientific methods in the field of special education, stressing that these achievements are part of the university's strategy to enhance its community role and improve the quality of education.

Dr. Heba Abu El-Nil added that the ceremony included various segments, including artistic and theatrical performances presented by the students, reflecting their creative abilities and skills acquired during their years of study, in addition to honoring the university president and faculty members who contributed to supporting the educational process within the department.

Dr. Ahmed Azazi announced the opening of a new website dedicated to the Autism Department, explaining that the website aims to document all graduation projects for this batch and previous batches, as well as publish all news related to the department and research projects, noting that the graduation project relies on the use of virtual reality glasses in training autistic children on shopping and using trains.
