Faculty of Special Needs Sciences at Beni Suef University Organizes Book Fair to Promote Students’ Cultural Awareness

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences, in cooperation with the Student Affairs Department and the Student Union Council, organized the annual book fair at the faculty premises, marking the most prominent cultural event of the week. The event was supervised by Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Heba Allah Abu El-Neel, Dean of the Faculty; and Dr. Mahmoud El-Shahawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, with the participation of Dr. Haitham Nagi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and organized by Ms. Heba Hussein, Director of Student Affairs at the Faculty.

Dr. Tarek Ali highlighted that organizing such events reflects Beni Suef University’s continuous commitment to supporting cultural activities and enhancing students’ intellectual awareness. He emphasized that the University’s role extends beyond academics to include shaping students’ personalities and developing their intellectual skills through reading and knowledge acquisition.

The University President also invited all students of the faculty and the university to visit the fair and take advantage of this exceptional cultural opportunity, stressing the importance of reading in promoting purposeful student activities and expanding the intellectual horizons of university youth.

Dr. Heba Allah Abu El-Neel, Dean of the Faculty, explained that the fair includes a diverse collection of books in various scientific, literary, and educational fields, offered at discounted prices suitable for students. She added that the fair will continue for a full week starting today, providing all students the opportunity to visit and benefit from its content.
