Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary to an Arab Icon: Establishing a new farm, a recruitment conference, and appointing an official for international cooperation

Dr. Khaled Abbas, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary at Beni Suef University, said that we pay great attention to developing the college’s infrastructure and preparing specialized administrative cadres, which enables us to successfully implement various projects to achieve the college’s aspirations to improve the quality of education and contribute to developing the community and the environment around us
The Dean of Veterinary in Beni Suef added, during his statements today, Wednesday: “The college is in the process of establishing a new farm that aims to develop and improve farm animal breeds, which contributes to increasing productivity and achieving the college’s strategic goals in improving the level of livestock, noting that the new farm will be the cornerstone for achieving the greater goal of supporting local production and achieving self-sufficiency
Abbas stressed that the college intends to hold a postgraduate conference in cooperation with some donor bodies, to present the latest scientific research, studies, and topics which related to the field of veterinary and its contribution to achieving sustainable development, especially in the livestock sector, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 to achieve sustainable development
Dr. Khaled Abbas explained that the college will hold a special employment conference, during which companies and organizations working in the field of veterinary , the pharmaceutical industry, and the development of animal and fish wealth will be invited, in addition to extending an invitation to college graduates who are working in various fields to benefit from their expertise in creating new job opportunities for new college graduates
The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary in Beni Suef continued: We will provide meat to citizens from the college farm during the holy month of Ramadan, in addition to implementing the “sacrifice” project, as the sacrificial animals receive food and appropriate health treatment inside the farm, to be sold during the blessed Eid al-Adha, which contributes to meeting the needs of society
Dr. Khaled Abbas added: The various departments of the college are working on preparing research projects in various fields of veterinary , and they are funded by some donors. These projects aim to develop the scientific and research level of the college, which will benefit the veterinary community in general
Dr. Khaled Abbas pointed out that the college is currently preparing a new scientific regulation for postgraduate programs, in line with the tremendous scientific development worldwide. The college is also interested in the food safety program, which is a specialized scientific program, aiming to graduate doctors specialized in this important field
