Beni-Suef University Organizes a Training Workshop to Enhance Control Unit Efficiency Using the SPIS System as Part of Digital Transformation Efforts

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Central Administration for Language Sections and Programs, in coordination with the University’s Software Unit, organized a training workshop titled “Mechanism of Work in Control Units Using the SPIS System for Sections and Programs.” The workshop was held under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Qaid, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and University Projects Director, with the attendance of Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Amira Hemam, General Coordinator of Sections and Programs; Dr. Naglaa Eissa, Deputy Coordinator; Eng. Tarek Sayed, Director of the Unit; along with several coordinators and control unit members involved in implementing the system. The training was delivered by Eng. Tarek Khalil, who provided a detailed explanation of the system’s supported functions and how to manage control units digitally to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized the importance of advancing the university’s control systems, noting that this development lies at the heart of the institution’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy. He explained that the adoption and implementation of the electronic SPIS system represents a pivotal shift and an essential step toward improving the quality of academic work and ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and transparency in student assessment and results processing.
The University President stressed that the success of any electronic system fundamentally depends on the human element, underscoring the need for continuous and intensive investment in training the personnel responsible for operating the control units. He stated that well-trained staff are the cornerstone of effective and sustainable system operation. He also praised the positive and distinguished interaction demonstrated by workshop participants, commending the spirit of cooperation and seriousness that characterized the training activities.
Dr. Tarek Ali further highlighted the vital and central role of specialized training workshops in enhancing staff competency and supporting the effectiveness of academic programs. He noted that the effective application of the SPIS system will directly contribute to simplifying complex administrative procedures, standardizing workflows across different faculties, reducing the likelihood of human error, and ensuring the highest levels of discipline and precision in monitoring all academic programs and sections. He added that this workshop is part of an integrated series of training programs aimed at developing skills, standardizing procedures, and providing the best possible service to students and academic departments.
The University President also praised the strong engagement shown by participants throughout the workshop, which included practical demonstrations of control unit tasks, academic operations management, and mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation through the system in ways that facilitate work and ensure accuracy and speed.
