Beni-Suef University’s Faculty of Early Childhood Education Organizes a Sports Day as Part of the “100 Days of Sports” Initiative

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty of Early Childhood Education organized a special sports day as part of the university’s “100 Days of Sports” initiative. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Ibrahim Abdel-Razek Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty; and Dr. Taha Mohamed Mabrouk, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, with the presence of Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director of the General Administration for Youth Welfare at the university, along with members of the organizing committee.
Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that Beni-Suef University places great importance on sports activities as a key component in building students’ character and preparing them for a distinguished future. He added that the “100 Days of Sports” initiative reflects the university’s vision to promote awareness of the significance of movement and physical activity on campus, given their vital role in enhancing public health, fostering a spirit of cooperation and belonging, and developing leadership and teamwork skills. He affirmed the university’s continued support for such events, which help create a positive and motivating university environment.
Dr. Ibrahim Abdel-Razek, Dean of the Faculty, added that these activities reflect the faculty’s commitment to promoting a culture of sports among female students, considering it an essential element in shaping their personalities, strengthening their physical and mental well-being, and reinforcing values of discipline and teamwork. He also highlighted the role of sports activities in relieving academic pressure and discovering talents, portraying a civilized image of the university and fostering a spirit of healthy competition and belonging.
The sports day witnessed wide participation from students, faculty members, and staff. The event featured a variety of individual and team sports activities and competitions marked by diversity and excitement, contributing to the initiative’s goals and offering all participants the opportunity to enjoy an engaging and interactive athletic experience.
