Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Military and Popular Defense Forces Command, in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine at the University, organized an official visit to the Armed Forces Medical Complex in Maadi. The visit was held under the supervision of Dr. Hany Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Colonel Khaled Nabil, Director of the Military Education Department at the University; and Lieutenant Colonel Taha Salah Matar, Deputy Director of the Department. The visit aimed to enhance students’ skills and instill in them a deep sense of patriotism and belonging.
Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that such visits come within the university’s comprehensive vision to provide an integrated educational experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, while fostering national and humanitarian values among students. He noted that the visit included field tours inside various hospital departments, where doctors and consultants provided detailed explanations about operational mechanisms and methods of handling medical cases. This gave students a unique opportunity to gain firsthand professional experience and learn about the latest technologies used in the military medical sector.
In a touching humanitarian gesture, the students visited wounded heroes of the Armed Forces who were injured during counter-terrorism operations, offering them bouquets of flowers—a moment that deeply moved both the patients and the students alike.
At the end of the visit, the students expressed their happiness and gratitude for this enriching and inspiring experience, noting that they learned valuable practical lessons and were greatly touched by meeting the brave heroes of the Armed Forces.
