Blood Donation Campaign at the Faculty of Social Work, Beni-Suef University, Under the Motto “Whoever Saves One Life, It Is as If He Has Saved All of Humanity”

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, and as part of the university’s efforts to promote values of giving and social responsibility, the “Students for Egypt” family at the Faculty of Developmental Social Work organized a blood donation campaign under the motto “Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of humanity.”

The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Hendawy Abd El-Lahey, Dean of the Faculty. It was organized and implemented by Dr. Fadl Mohamed Ahmed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Saad El-Sherbiny, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Colonel Khaled Nabil Ibrahim, Director of the Military Education Department at the university, with the participation of Dr. Mokhles Ramadan Belih, Student Activities Coordinator at the Faculty.

Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the campaign aims to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and social engagement among students, emphasizing the importance of blood donation as a humanitarian act that saves lives. He affirmed the university’s full support for all initiatives that promote health awareness and encourage volunteerism.

The University President also noted that the campaign witnessed strong participation from both students and faculty members and resulted in collecting a significant number of blood units that will help save the lives of many patients. He expressed his pride in the students’ involvement in this initiative, which reflects values of cooperation and compassion.

Dr. Tarek Ali added that this event is part of a series of activities aimed at fostering a spirit of human solidarity and instilling the culture of volunteer work among university youth. The organizers affirmed their commitment to continuing such initiatives that serve the community and promote values of belonging and generosity.
