President of Beni-Suef University: Launch of the Training Program “Critical Care and Emergency Nursing” at the Faculty of Nursing

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, announced the launch of the training program titled “Critical Care and Emergency Nursing,” designed for the nursing staff of the Directorate of Health Affairs in Beni-Suef. The program is organized by the Faculty of Nursing under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hanan El-Zablawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; and Dr. Hany Mostafa Gomaa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beni-Suef. The event was attended by Dr. Sherine El-Sayed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Islam Mokhtar, Head of the Department of Critical Care Nursing; Dr. Maha Hassan, Director of the Nursing Administration at the Directorate of Health Affairs; and members of the Critical Care Nursing Department.

Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the program aims to enhance the efficiency of nursing professionals and qualify them to handle critical and emergency cases effectively, following the latest scientific and professional protocols. This contributes to improving the quality of healthcare services provided to patients.

The training program will run over two months, with sessions held twice a week (on Thursdays and Saturdays), totaling eight training days. Each session will include 25 nursing staff participants, targeting the training of 200 nurses from healthcare units and hospitals.

During the first day of activities, participants received hands-on training on first aid skills and managing shock cases, with lectures delivered by a distinguished group of faculty members from the Faculty of Nursing.
