A new scientific achievement for Beni-Suef University: Two faculty members from the Faculty of Science have been selected to join national committees representing Egypt internationally.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, announced the selection of Dr. Arafa Hussein, Professor in the Department of Physics, as a member of the National Committee for Physics, and Dr. Ahmed Mahna, Professor at the Faculty of Science, as a member of the National Committee for New and Advanced Materials for the year 2025. These specialized scientific committees, affiliated with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, are part of the national committee system representing Egypt in corresponding international scientific unions and organizations.

The University President extended his congratulations to the Faculty of Science for having its members represented on these important committees, affirming that this selection reflects the high academic standing of the university’s professors and strengthens the university’s role in supporting scientific research and actively contributing to the development of national science policies. He also expressed his pride and appreciation for the efforts of the faculty members, wishing them continued success in serving the scientific community.
