Students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Beni-Suef University, Visit the Armed Forces Veterinary Hospital

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Popular and Military Defense Command, in cooperation with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, organized a visit to the Armed Forces Veterinary Hospital. The visit took place under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Al-Nisr, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Colonel Khaled Nabil, Director of the Military Education Department at the University, and Lieutenant Colonel Taha Salah Matar, Deputy Director of the Department. The initiative aimed to enhance students’ skills, foster their sense of loyalty and belonging, and strengthen national spirit. The event was attended by Major General Ayman Mounir, Director of the Veterinary Services Department of the Armed Forces, along with several faculty members. Participating students received accredited certificates for their training in the hospital’s laboratories.
The students expressed their pride in the advanced level of training and modern teaching methods they observed, describing the visit as a valuable opportunity to learn about the latest technologies in veterinary medicine. They also voiced their appreciation for discovering the honorable history and remarkable capabilities of the Egyptian Armed Forces, extending their deep respect to the defenders of the nation. They emphasized that the experience enriched their practical understanding and deepened their applied knowledge, helping them to better align with the requirements of the job market.
It is worth noting that the Armed Forces Veterinary Hospital, affiliated with the Veterinary Services Department, was established in 1969. It is the only hospital of its kind within the Armed Forces, providing advanced services in the field of veterinary medicine while also training specialized personnel, reflecting its commitment to advancing both scientific and practical standards in this field.
